Markham Cronin


An award-winning art director and graphic designer, Markham Cronin has spent the last twenty five years in the creative departments of world renowned agencies such as Crispin Porter + Bogusky, Carmichael Lynch, and Brighthouse. He has worked with clients in every imaginable category, ranging from dot com start ups to Fortune 100 companies such as Coca Cola, AT&T, Delta Air Lines, Diageo, Home Depot, Harley Davidson and Porsche.

On a mission to leverage his big agency experience and create best in class creative work, Markham founded his own agency in 2005. Leading a select team of creative talent, Markham has built an organization that brings a unique combination of entrepreneurial strategic thinking and world class creative execution for a roster of clients ranging from local start ups to global conglomerates.

Markham has a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from the University of Georgia. His work has been featured on The Today Show, MSNBC, Communication Arts, The New York Times, USA Today, Fast Company, The CLIOs, The Advertising Festival at Cannes, The One Show, Adweek and People magazine.

When he’s not at the office, Markham can be found fishing, cycling, tinkering in his garage, or spending time with his family.

Jack Daniel Bagdadi


A seventeen year veteran of creative advertising, Jack brings deep experience across industries and categories to the table. Prior to joining Markham, Jack worked all over the world, from Prague to São Paolo, at Euro RSCG, Buongiorno, and Mark BBDO. He has experience on both general market and Hispanic market accounts such as Porsche, Mercury Marine, Volvo Cars, Evian Water, Afrin, NY Ad Week, Toyota, GE Capital, Wrigleys, Mellow Mushroom Pizza, Sushi Maki, DIAGEO, Oriental Bank and PETA.

Jack graduated from Tufts University and later studied art direction at the Miami Ad School. He is fluent in Spanish and French and holds dual American and Italian citizenship.

His work has been recognized by YoungGuns International, The One Show, The Gunn Report, The CLIOs, HOW, and Graphis.

Sara Cronin

Sara’s unique story spans almost 3 decades, beginning in 1988 as employee number one and founding member of what would become the global network CPB [Crispin Porter + Bogusky], the renowned creative ad agency. She established and developed the agency’s production capabilities from the ground up and led CPB to unprecedented acclaim, expanding to 10 offices worldwide. Leveraging her extensive experience in marketing leadership, she founded consultancy Talent Squared in 2017, helping up-and-coming agencies navigate the challenges of growth, operations and management. She joined venerated Miami creative agency Markham Yard in 2023 as Chief Operating Officer, leading a multifaceted team that optimizes the agency’s systems to focus on maximizing every aspect of the work we do. As a recognized industry leader, she embraces an entrepreneurial spirit and a leadership philosophy that encourages teams to combine exceptional business acumen with creative vision to drive success.

Paulina Aquino


Paulina Aquino is the Chief Financial Officer at Markham Yard. Born in Santiago, Chile. She has resided in Florida since 1979. Paulina is a team building and financial professional with more than 20 years of experience within the Advertising industry. As a mother and grandmother Paulina strongly believes in a work/life balance, increasing productivity, happiness, and reducing stress. Paulina is also a firm believer in the power of positive thinking; it has made it possible for her to reach new heights in her career and help others do the same. On a personal level, Paulina enjoys family time, shopping and is obsessed with shoes! She also enjoys dining out, good wine and of course, coffee.

Katherine Perez


Katie is a seasoned account lead with over 15 years of agency experience. She’s led accounts like Verizon, Kay Jewelers, Bed Bath and Beyond, Wyndham Grand, MSC Cruises, Colgate Palmolive, and Johnson & Johnson. She brings expertise in consumer journey experience, 360-degree campaign production, and retail strategy. She’s a Florida native and a graduate of the University of Florida. (Go Gators!) Her hobbies include binging anything on Bravo TV and True Crime, reading on her kindle, and traveling. She lives in Parkland, Florida with her fiancé, step-daughter, and 3 cats (Macchiato, Milk Toast, and Tostada) 😊

Brent Carlin


Brent was born and raised in Miami, making him a true 305 native. He has worked at Markham Yard for seven years as Digital Director, helping the team bring an array of digital ideas to life. In addition to his expertise in digital production, Brent is an adept front-end developer with expertise in using HTML5, CSS and Javascript, as well as a digital designer and UX specialist. He is also a seasoned Flash and ActionScript 3 programmer and has experience in back-end technologies such as PHP, MYSQL and NOSQL.

Prior to joining Markham Yard, Brent was the Front-End Developer at WEHCO Media, overseeing 17 individual newspapers and magazines. He has also led digital projects at Saatchi & Saatchi X for global brands including COVERGIRL, Crest, Duracell, Pampers and Walmart.

Brent has a degree in Web Design and Interactive Media from the Arts Institute of Fort Lauderdale and also graduated from the University of Florida with a BA in History. He likes to spend his spare time working on a diverse set of side projects including screen printing, processing, Arduino, Raspberry Pi, WordPress theming, app development and brewing sake.

Misty McPadden


Misty was born and raised in the Philippines and moved to the US in 2011. She lived and worked in Cincinnati for two years before moving to Connecticut and now lives in Miami, FL.

Misty has been working in the advertising industry for the past 15 years. Her
experience includes managing activations, social media, digital web, and mobile projects. Prior to joining Markham Yard, she led digital projects at BBDO-Proximity Worldwide and Leo Burnett for global brands including P&G’s Swiffer and Mr. Clean, Wella, Pepsi, Quaker Oats, Google and Verizon. Misty has a UI and UX certification and loves learning new technologies.

Misty loves to cook and paint in her spare time. Her specialty is Filipino and
Korean dishes. Watercolor is her medium of choice when painting. Her favorite subjects include still life and is now learning to paint landscape and cityscapes.

Alec Lopez


Alec is Markham Yard’s multimedia production whiz with experience making phenomenal creative come to life. After stints at Sony Music Latin and CP+B, Alec joined Markham Yard in 2015 as the agency’s in-house producer. Alec has produced work of varying scales, from global integrated campaigns to local radio spots, employing creative production solutions to make campaigns shine. Alec also serves as the agency’s in-house videographer and editor. Alec has a degree in communications from Florida State University, where he also served as program director of the student-led radio station WVFS-Tallahassee.

Michael Perez


Michael, a Miami native, is a media strategy professional with experience across all forms of media planning and buying including broadcast, OOH, digital and social. He has worked on multiple global and national accounts including Liebherr, Embraer, letgo, Logan’s Roadhouse, MetLife, Office Depot, Ryder System, Inc. and Santa Margherita USA. His career has been mainly working in tandem with creative teams (primarily at CP+B), working hard to elevate creative ideas through the use of media. Michael holds two degrees from the University of Florida; a Master of Arts in International Business and Bachelor of Arts in Advertising.

When not working, Michael is an avid sports fan following Miami sports teams, USA soccer and you guessed it, the Florida Gators.

Karina Bagdadi

Karina joined the Markham Yard team in 2013. As a copywriter, she has written for a host of varied clients, including Porsche, Mercury Marine, and the Santa Margherita Wine Group. She is fluent in Spanish, conversational in Hebrew, and is a dual citizen of the U.S. and Italy. When not explaining the difference between em dashes and hyphens, she enjoys baking, going to concerts, and pushing the limits of her personal style.

Laura Suescun


Laura joined Markham Yard as a designer in 2019. She is a Miami – Colombian native with a background in digital design, visual communications, marketing and social media. She has designed for the University of Miami Business School, University of Florida, IT’SUGAR, Virgin Voyages, and Porsche.

Laura has a degree in Graphic Design from the University of Florida and spends her free time building with Legos, creating animations, painting and playing with her pup.

Salomé Berrebi


Sal joined the Markham Yard team in October 2021 and comes with 7 years of agency, client-relations and advertising experience. Prior to Markham Yard, Sal worked on the Marketing team for a small-kitchen appliance company, working closely with the digital and product teams to create 360 strategic campaigns to promote new and current products. Before that, Sal worked as an Account Executive at rbb Communications where she worked on several accounts and managed day-to-day projects and client/agency relations. Her experience ranges from healthcare to banking, boating, quick-service restaurants, hospitality, and more.

Sal is originally from Paris (yes, she speaks French) and moved to Miami at a young age. She has a degree in Advertising Management from the University of Miami and enjoys fishing, hanging out with friends and cuddling with her emotional-support dog named Nougat (noo-gah).

Alexander Lozana


Alex joined the Markham Yard team in 2023 after completing an immersive copywriting internship the previous year. A Miami native, his Cuban/Lebanese heritage has exposed him to a blend of cultures, stories, and writing styles. He has written for various clients, such as Yellowfin Yachts, Invincible Boats, CHoR, Liebherr, NYBCe, and more. Previously, he had experience as a social media coordinator for FSU’s Division of Student Affairs Marketing, as well as being a passionate barista and autonomous vehicle test specialist. He believes that words are the most powerful tools at one’s disposal, with cafecito being a close second. Alex has a dual Bachelor’s Degree in communications and creative writing with a minor in psychology from Florida State University.

When he’s not writing copy, he spends his free time at the gym, gaming, reading, writing poetry/songs, and arguing over which Star Wars movie is the best (it’s Empire Strikes Back).
